the location was great. staff were friendly and helpful during check-in. my room received a lovely upgrade. the views from the room were fine, showing the river and the city.
the pool was small, and the changing area lacked privacy.

i appreciated the hotel's location near the tube station (it was about a 10-minute walk). the superior double room i stayed in was a good size. the bathroom had a decent shower, very useful.
the hotel activated the fire alarm, which required an evacuation. guests had to walk through a group of masked individuals, and that added distress (i was not happy about that). the bedding in my room smelt stale.

dusty ventilationclogged drain
I encountered a few problems. the ventilation in my room was full of dust (i am allergic, unfortunately). the bathroom sink drain was also clogged. Staff did clean it after i asked. it was not a pleasant experience. (i was really hoping for a better room).

The room, a Superior Double Room, was located on a high floor. I found it perfectly adequate for my needs. I enjoyed the sauna and pool facilities in the basement (I ALWAYS look for hotels with a sauna). Breakfast was delicious. I would DEFINITELY stay here again!

The staff demonstrated kindness and accommodation. The check-in process was fast. The check-out process was fast too. The restaurant staff responded quickly when I asked them questions (this impressed me!).
